At 8:30 PM, you and your partner will make your way to Île de la Cité and a quaint alley just a short stroll from Notre-Dame Cathedral. Hand in hand, you’ll arrive at a 16th-century house draped in lush greenery and ivy.
As you step inside, you'll be transported to a setting reminiscent of the grandest provincial Renaissance estates. Greeted by the owner, you'll be shown to the first floor of the restaurant, where a salon adorned with chandeliers, precious ornaments, and antique furniture awaits. With a breathtaking view of Notre-Dame’s towers, you’ll be seated at a table elegantly dressed with crystal glassware and silver cutlery.
In an intimate and romantic atmosphere, you'll start your evening with a Kir Royal Opéra before choosing your meal from a selection of local delicacies sourced from the finest farms in Aveyron. For instance, you might savor a farçou with seven vegetables, house-seared foie gras with warm toast, wild scallops stuffed with gourmet ingredients, or a duo of duck breast served with Aubrac coufidou in a Marcillac wine stew.
Just before dessert, the maître d'hôtel will return to your table with a stunning bouquet of red roses. He’ll present it to your partner, who will soon notice a mysterious, heart-shaped metal box tucked among the flowers. Surprised by the thoughtful gesture, she’ll unwrap the bouquet and open the hidden box. Inside, she’ll find a small piece of paper tied with a ribbon… As she gently unfolds it, she’ll discover your marriage proposal.
