Marriage proposal around the moon? Company offers flights from Space Coast.
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — Five... four... three... two... one… will you marry me?
Starting in March 2022 you can propose to your loved one while flying around the moon.
The ApoteoSurprise agency, a French company that helps plan extravagant proposals, said that beginning in 2022 it will offer flights around the moon from Kennedy Space Center.
The trip lasts a week and costs around $145 million.
“When love and science unite themselves to stage the most amazing and spectacular marriage proposal of these last 13.8 billion years,” the company’s website said.
Participants will submit to medical exams and a physical condition assessment before being trained for three months by aerospace professionals, the website said.
Frank Sinatra's song "Fly Me to the Moon" will play halfway through, which signals the timing of the proposal.
