Unusual experience: A marriage proposal in front of the “Titanic”? It is possible with 1 million euros.
A French company offers you to declare your flame at a depth of 3,800 meters. Meeting with its founder, a true lover of love.
All marriage proposals are unique. But some are particularly out of place, because they transport you to the most remote lands of love. Nothing is too good to promise eternal fidelity.
This is why Nicolas Garreau, head of the ApoteoSurprise company, now offers to dive 3,800 meters deep to prove his love. Near the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, the bow of the famous ship Titanic awaits the bride and groom.
“It’s only men who reserve my scenarios (note: the company has a range of services at various prices). Everything is done so that the woman suspects nothing until the last moment. About the experience Titanic, the couple is on board a high-tech submersible, accompanied by an expedition leader and two scientists. Ten seconds after the appearance of the bow of the ship, the man kneels down and makes his proposal,” explains Nicolas Garreau.
Celine Dion’s mythical music, “My Heart Will Go On”, also gives the boost that the future fiancé needs to embark on the crazy adventure of love.
The price of love
But how did the founder of ApoteoSurprise come up with this crazy idea and bring it to life? “To my knowledge, less than 300 people have had the chance to see the ship in person. So I wanted to take inspiration from the film “Titanic” by James Cameron to offer an incredible performance. Then I called on my network, being an aeronautical engineer by training, to sign contracts with a diving company specializing in the depths and already in place around the Titanic.” Nicolas Garreau wanted to keep his contacts secret.
But declaring his flame has a cost: 1 million euros. “We can only offer this experience to less than ten people per year and only during the summer, because of the weather conditions”, specifies the inventor.
If the goal is therefore to swim in happiness until death do you part, be careful not to repeat the complete scenario of James Cameron. Spoiler: risk of drowning. We therefore wish all those who wish to take the plunge to be a tad sure of themselves.
