ometime
between 8pm and 8:30pm, after a phone call from your
chauffeur, you will be picked up from your hotel/accommo-dation
by a luxury 1967 Cadillac Fleetwood.
You will go to the vehicle
and will cross Paris to join an immense concrete building
which will appear to be an uninhabited ghost castle.
You will open the entrance gate of the property and
will go into the building. You will suddenly find
yourself in the middle of a maze of lugubrious corridors
enlightened, here and there, by the buzz of dying
neon lights.
The only guides of the disquieting labyrinth will be some
petals of roses on the ground which, corridor after corridor,
staircase after staircase, will lead you, at the third floor,
in front of an imposing steel door. You will knock three
times at the door and a man, wearing 18th century clothes,
will open to you, a candlestick in his hand.
Welcome in an oriental
tale of 1001 nights! Enrobed by a Verdi's operatic symphony,
you will savor a glass of champagne spiced with a touch
of rose flavored vodka, and will go through the meandering
of a baroque and luxuriant setting. Step after step, you
will be dazzled by a temple garnished with thousands of
fresh flowers and lit by hundreds of candles, between Papyriform
columns, Raphael's angels, oriental brockets, Roman statues
and Venetian frescoes.
To highlight your
taste, you will luxuriate in one of the satin hidden recesses
of the palace, where you will sample a platter of lobster
cannelloni with Impérial de France caviar, red tuna and
ginger sushi rolls, tandoori style chicken cannelloni and
crunchy pieces of spices honey bread with semi-cooked foie
gras and fresh mango brunoise.
Then, you will join
a massive, rangy table. Sat at the two extremities of the
table – so you will miss together! – you will savor a a
gourmet, oriental flavored dinner which will lead you to
Nirvana: ratte potato and black truffle mousse, artichoke
poivrade with semi-cooked foie gras and argon oil, herb
salad with pieces of spiced honey cake and balsamic vinegar,
lobster in curried butter with aromatic rice laced with
parmeggiano, refined cheeses (Brie de Meaux, Cantal, Bleu
d'Auvergne, Munster, Crottin de Chavignol), all of these
dishes being accompanied by a Chablis Premier Cru Montmains
2003 and a Saint-Estèphe Château Phélan-Ségur 1999. For
dessert, with a Ruinart Brut Blanc de Blancs champagne,
you will enjoy a Grand Cru chocolate trilogy composed of
an extra bitter chocolate cake with dark chocolate lace,
an old fashioned warm chocolate verrine and a nougat with
bitter dark chocolate sorbet.
At
the end of your romantic meal, you will leave the table
and will relax on multiple soft cushions sprinkled in the
middle of the dinning room savoring fruits, sweets, coffee,
tea, infusion and champagne. The butler, a few minutes later,
will open a red curtain which will unveil a blazing, splendid
corridor covered with gold. You
will take your beloved by the hand and will follow the corridor.
At the end of the corridor,
you will push open a heavy wooden door and will find yourselves
in the heart of a divine room blotted in white. On
your left, you will then notice a half-opened door.
You will open the door and will discover
a perfumed jacuzzi room softly lit by candles. You will
leave your clothes, will pour yourselves a glass of champagne,
and will immerge yourselves in the romantic flower covered
jacuzzi. In front of the jacuzzi
room, a ravishing silver bedroom will wait you for the rest
of the night...
