The ancient streets of Paris will be the
backdrop
to one of the tenderest chapters in the
tale of your romance.
In a world where time stands still, you'll
stroll with your loved one through the
authentic
cobblestoned alleyways of France's most
romantic city and make the sweetest declaration
of love...
|
 |
|
|
The Big Day,
Montmartre: like every other couple
in love, when visiting Paris you'll
put aside an afternoon to discover
the Sacré Cœur Basilica and its
surroundings.
|
|
After savoring one of the most spectacular
views of the French capital, you'll
weave hand in hand through the maze
of poetic alleyways in the ancient
Montmartre district.
Sometime between
5 and 5:10pm, you'll stroll over
to Place du Tertre, a square famous
for its painters...
|
|
|
|
|
You'll soon be approached by Auguste,
a portrait artist, who'll offer to do
a crayon drawing of your sweetheart. Naturally,
you'll be happy to have such an unforgettable
souvenir drawn for her (make sure you
have 10 euros ready to pay for the portrait
so that your partner doesn't get suspicious).
The portrait will in fact have been drawn
before-hand using a photo that you'll
have provided...
|
|
When your partner receives her portrait,
she won't help but notice the only detail
that is in color: a key shaped pendant.
The artist won't go into
the details, but will however explain
that it represents the key to happiness.
After having cut across
the lively maze of artists at the Place
du Tertre, you'll head off down rue Norvins,
before taking the first right into the
peaceful rue des Saules.
|
|

|
 |
|
|
You'll come
across a gypsy sitting on the footpath
selling jewelry to people passing
by. She'll claim that her jewels
hold extraordinary powers such as
the promise of beauty, the guarantee
of fortune... even the promise of
happiness and true love.
|
|
The gypsy will call you over and
closely examine the hands and face
of your partner.
There'll be no
doubt in her mind - of all the many
different necklaces and other jewelry
she possesses, only one will be
right for your sweetheart, a key
shaped pendant... the very same
one that appears in the portrait
! You'll be stunned.
|
|
|
|
After showing the portrait to the gypsy,
she'll offer you the pendant in recognition
of such an incredible coincidence. The
enormous amount of mystery will thwart
your partner as you continue on your walk;
taking a left and strolling down rue de
l'Abreuvoir.
|
 |
|
|
Suddenly you'll notice a man running
up the street in a panic. He'll
regularly be looking around his
shoulder to see if he's being followed.
This agitated, worried man will
have something hidden in his jacket...
|
|
When the fugitive
reaches where you're standing, he'll
pull a wrapped parcel out from his
anorak and hand it to your sweetheart
as he whispers the words : «
This is for you ».
After checking
one last time behind his back to
see that he's not being followed,
the man will disappear just as quickly
as he came.
|
|
|
|
 |
|
You'll decide to stop and sit down outside
the La Maison Rose café in order to find
out what's contained in the parcel.
When your partner unwraps
the parcel she'll discover a padlocked
wooden box...
The tiny padlock will
be engraved with the same key that your
partner is wearing around her neck. She's
the only person who can open it up. Upon
opening the box she'll discover your tender
message lying in the bottom of the box
and be overcome by a wave of emotion.
efore leaving the café,
the waiter will offer you two glasses
of champagne along with a bouquet of beautifully
colored flowers.
The stones of Montmartre
will guard forever these truly sweet moments
of exquisite delight.
